"కల్కి" చూసిన తర్వాత, నా కుమార్తె మహాభారత పాత్రల సుడిని , ప్రత్యేకించి 'ద'తో మొదలయ్యేపేర్ల చిక్కుముడి విడదీసే ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభించింది. ఉత్సుకతతో కూడిన గందరగోళంతో, నన్ను వరుస ప్రశ్నలు వేసింది. దుర్యోధనుడు, ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు, ద్రోణాచార్య వంటి కష్ట తరమైన పేర్లు ఎందుకు లాంటి ప్రశ్నలకి, నేను సమాథానం ఇవ్వడానికి ప్రయత్నించాను.  ఇలా 'ద' పేర్లతో ఉల్లాసంగా నడిచిన ఈ అల్లరి  నవ్వుల కార్టూన్ సిరీస్‌లో మాతో నవ్వులు పంచుకోండి.

థియేట‌ర్‌కి చేరుకోవ‌డం కాస్త ఆల‌స్యం అయిందనుకుంటూ , హడావుడిగా కల్కి సినిమా నడుస్తున్న హాలులోకి ప్రవేశించాము. మేము లోపలికి ప్రవేశించే సమయానికి లోపల చీకటి, నిశ్శబ్దం. పెద్ద తెర వైపు చూస్తే నేలపై చనిపోయిన వ్యక్తి , వెంటాడే తెల్ల దెయ్యం.

ఒక్క క్షణం మేము తప్పు హాలులోకి  ప్రవేశించామని నేను అనుకున్నాను. కల్కిలో దెయ్యమా? 

మూడు గంటలపాటు దెయ్యాన్ని చూసేందుకు టిక్కెట్లు రిజర్వ్ చేసుకున్నందుకు నన్ను నేను క్షమించలేకపోయాను. 

చీకట్లో ఇతరుల పాదాలను తొక్కకుండా జాగ్రత్తగా ఓ మూల రిజర్వు చేసిన సీట్లలో ఆ తెర మీద దెయ్యం చేసే వేషాల్ని చూస్తూ నీరసంగా కూర్చున్నాం. ఆపై దెయ్యం అదృశ్యమైంది. ఆహా!! నేను ఎంత శక్తివంతురాలిని కాకపోతే నా రాకతో దెయ్యం అదృశ్యమైంది😃.

అది రాబోయే వేరొక సినిమా ట్రెయిలర్ ట, కల్కి ఇంకా మొదలు కాలేదు. 

సినిమా మొదలయింది. కాసేపట్లో అమితాబ్ బచ్చన్ వచ్చారు.

 

ఓ రెండు రోజులు అయ్యాక..

ఈ సందర్భంలో సీనియర్ ఎన్.టీ.ఆర్ గారికి, ఆ గ్రాంథిక డైలాగులన్నీ సరళ తెలుగులో కి తర్జుమా చేసి చెప్పిన మా నాన్నకి, రామానంద సాగర్ గారికి చాలా చాలా ఋణ పడి ఉన్నానేమో. ఇన్ని పౌరాణిక కథలు, అందులో పాత్రల గురించి తెలియజేసినందుకు. 

English translation      

                                                              Kalki..     

After watching the epic movie "Kalki," my daughter embarks on a mission to untangle the Mahabharata’s character web, especially the ones with names starting with 'D.' With curiosity and confusion in equal measure, she bombards me with with a series of questions. As she asks why all names sounds like a tongue twister, Duryodhana, Dhritarashtra, Dronacharya, I tried to give my best to keep up.  Join us in this laugh-out-loud riotous cartoon series as we hilariously navigate the maze of a whole lot of 'D' names!

We thought we got little late reaching the theatre and hurriedly entered the theatre that is running the movie Kalki. It was already dark and silent inside by the time we entered. A dead man on the floor and a white haunting ghost on the big screen. 

I thought we have entered into a wrong screen. A ghost in Kalki? 

I couldn't excuse myself for reserving tickets to watch a ghost for three hours. 

We carefully took the reserved seats without stamping others feet in the dark and then the ghost vanished. Wow! I am so powerful that ghost vanished upon my arrival 😃. 

Thankfully, that was some other upcoming movie's trailer and Kalki did not start yet. 

Soon movie started and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan appeared on the screen after some time. 

After two days.. 

In this context, I owe a lot to senior NTR garu, to my father for translating all those scriptural dialogues into simple language for me and Ramanand Sagar ji, for their narration about so many mythological stories and characters.
